Lucía Gauchía Babé Wins the NSF Career Award

Lucía Gauchía Babé, an ex Kensington School pupil, has won the NSF Career Award (National Science Foundation Career awards)

Lucía is currently conducting a study on energy storage at Michigan Tech University. In her research, she is using eco-friendly tools to get a longer battery life from different domains: from electric vehicles to emergency power units. The results of this study will be used in classes at the University where students can work with the data obtained to do their own research. For her, inspiring the next generation of researchers is one of the keys to the future of technology on energy storage.

From all at Kensington School, we would like to congratulate her for her consistency, her ability to analyze and her dedication to Science.
